Ep. 107 Juliana Brandt: From a Decade of Dreams to Published Author

Juliana grew up just outside of Minneapolis. She traveled around the country after graduating college until she landed in North Carolina, where she started her teaching career.

In 2011, Juliana was in a car accident. Due to her injuries and not being able to work, she suddenly had a lot of time on her hands and started writing. Juliana dreamt about becoming an author for a decade and wrote 14 books before her debut book was published.

Her books, The Wolf Of Cape Fen, A Wilder Magic and Monsters In The Mist, are all published by Sourcebooks Kids. Many of them are inspired by her dreams and her time living in the south.

In this episode of Flip Your Script with host Kristi Piehl, Juliana talks about her passions of teaching and writing, following your dreams and the magic in her writing.
